Reports

Caring for Denver Foundation believes in careful stewardship of its resources, as well as transparency of its funding initiatives. Here you’ll find reports we release throughout the year.

2024-26 Strategic Plan

Our Strategic Plan outlines our continued commitment to being community-centered and driven, iterative and innovative, and stewarding our resources responsibly and strategically to implement our mission.

Shared Impact Plan

Grantees work with their program officer and an evaluation and learning associate to identify their unique measures for reporting using our Shared Impact Plan as the guide. It supports grantees in measuring what is meaningful to their work and helps keep reporting right-sized to the organization’s capabilities and resources.

2022 Community Check In

In 2022, Caring for Denver conducted a city-wide engagement effort—a Community Check-In—comprised of targeted conversations with community members and a broad-reaching survey. Also available in Spanish and Vietnamese. More details are available in the 2022 Community Check In Supplement.

Strategic Funding Areas (2020)

On November 6, 2018 seventy percent of Denver said yes to doing more to support mental health and substance misuse needs in our city. We believe Denver’s people are our greatest resource. So we relied on their knowledge, experience, and collaboration to inform our founding funding areas.

Learning Briefs

Caring for Denver Foundation is committed to learning both as a measure of progress and to guide our future actions. Deeply listening to our grantees and their expertise is part of this commitment. Learning Briefs share back what we’ve learned and how grantees are helping us think about our work differently.

It’s Mental Health Awareness Month. Tell us what support looks like to you.
