$275,000 over 2 years for the Summit Program to serve students in recovery from addiction by providing a strong pro-social peer community, specialized recovery supports, and an engaging educational environment. This grant will expand this Denver, including those with engagement in the legal system. The initial outcomes for this recovery program show great success in providing the environment and support teenagers need to remain clean and sober, and progress towards high school graduation.

$30,000 over 0.5 years in recognition that the disparate impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic are in part the result of a larger experience of trauma faced by the Black community, funds were provided to address mental health, substance misuse, and trauma needs in the Black community in Denver.
