DENVER — The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce Leadership Foundation‘s Leading Colorado Luncheon, the Leadership Foundation’s signature annual event that celebrates exceptional community leadership, is set for April 11.
This year’s event will honor the 9NEWS Leader of the Year and the Boettcher Foundation’s Student Leader of the Year, recognizing individuals who have made significant contributions to the metro Denver area.
Leading Colorado will delve into the stories of key leaders and explore what sets them apart in elevating our community. The event aims to highlight their dedication and impact, showcasing the spirit of leadership that the Leadership Foundation strives to cultivate.
This year’s 9NEWS Leader of the Year finalists include:
- John Farnam, Managing Director at the Morgridge Family Foundation
- Peter LiFari, Chief Executive Officer of Maiker Housing Partners
- Lorez Meinhold, Executive Director of the Caring for Denver Foundation

“We are excited to celebrate this special event every year, and I am thrilled about the incredible contributions our three finalists have made to our community,” said Jerome Davis, President of the Leadership Foundation and Executive Vice President of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. “Their dedication and impact truly embody the spirit of leadership we strive to cultivate, and they set an example that others can follow to shape an ethical, inspiring and supportive business community.”
The event will take place on April 11 at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts at 11:30 a.m.
Leading Colorado extends its gratitude to 9NEWS for their partnership and for hosting Meet the Finalists, an opportunity for the community to engage with the Leader of the Year finalists.
The 2024 Leading Colorado Luncheon is presented by Huntington Bank, alongside Media Sponsor 9NEWS and Student Leader of the Year Sponsor Boettcher Foundation.
