September is National Recovery Month, a time to promote evidence-based recovery practices, celebrate hope, and affirm that people can and do recover from substance use challenges.
Ahead of the 2026 Rally for Recovery, Great Day Colorado spoke with Juan Escobedo of Caring for Denver Foundation, along with Brooke Riedel and GC Morales, about recovery, community support, and the importance of coming together to celebrate recovery.
The Rally for Recovery took place September 19, bringing community members together at the Colorado State Capitol before continuing with a celebration at Cheesman Park.
