Our Executive Director, Lorez Meinhold, and Caring for Denver Foundation were recently spotlighted in Out Front Magazine‘s May edition, titled “Queering Mental Health.”
The true emphasis of Caring for Denver is its community impact and telling the stories of our community in Denver. As Lorez Meinhold puts it, “It only has meaning if it has meaning to the community.” Through direct action, Caring for Denver addresses the mental health and substance misuse challenges faced by diverse and marginalized communities, providing support to decrease stigma and increase access to care.
